In November, 2016, I was invited to join the 24K Real Estate Group. After 15 years with a large national franchise company, I am excited to be part of a small, independent, service-oriented firm.

Let me tell you a little about myself.

I am from central Pennsylvania, where I grew up, ultimately graduating from Lycoming College with a B.A. in Accounting. After serving as an accountant in various industries, I spent several years, first as the Manager of Budgets & Project Analysis, and then as the Trust Operations Manager for a large regional bank.

As my husband & I were preparing for our move to New Mexico, I took on an exciting two-year assignment as the District Manager for the 1990 Decennial Census for Central Pennsylvania, a division of the US Department of Commerce. That stint has been the source of more cocktail hour stories than I can count.

In 1994, we sold our house, packed up the cats, and moved to Albuquerque.

Shortly thereafter, I became the accounting manager for a title company, and thus began my introduction to the business of real estate. I then moved on to be the Controller for one of the larger real estate brokerages in New Mexico.

I earned my Real Estate License in 2000, and I moved into Real Estate sales as a full time, professional Realtor.

The past sixteen years have been the most rewarding of my professional life. As an accountant, your job is reporting on the relative success or failure of other people’s efforts. As a Realtor, I am an active participant in helping people shape their futures.

My previous experience, both professional and personal have given me valuable understanding of all that is involved in the purchase & sale of a home. I realize that buying or selling a home is often part of a personal transition. Whether the situation is a change in family circumstance, job move, retirement or other life-style adjustment, I consider my client’s personal well-being as important as their financial well-being.

I believe that paying attention to all the issues that surround the real estate transaction allows me to give the highest level of service possible to my clients. At 24K Real Estate Group, we call that “Solid Gold Service”.

I work with both Buyers and Sellers, whether you are upsizing, downsizing or relocating. It is always exciting to work with First-Time Buyers, and provide them with the special guidance they need in this first-time endeavor.

Senior clients, Trusts and Estates are of interest because these types of clients often require extra services in conjunction with the sale of the property. My years of experience in a Bank Trust Department, combined with my personal experiences in handling family property issues have made me sensitive to the special requirements of these clients.
