Why am I in real estate? I love it. Having trained originally as a pediatric nurse and then worked as a hospital designer and consultant for years, I made a lateral move into an industry that also focuses on people as they make major life decisions or are in major life-changing stressful situations. Who better than an old pediatric nurse? Architecture, homes, interior design, “deals” fascinate and challenge me.

My robust business has flourished as a result of referrals, repeat clients and a reputation locally as a broker that can be counted on to “get the deal done”. My clients are my priorities. Specifically, I counsel clients on real estate decisions, manage both sale and purchase transactions and continue to keep them informed of information relevant to their home investment over the years. I pride myself on having "clients for life." Building a client relationship is more important to me than selling to a customer.

What type of clients do I serve? My scope of business is broad. I work with first time homebuyers, young couples moving “up”, millennials buying “in”, people moving here or moving away, baby boomers moving “down,” singles settling “in”, and grown children selling parent’s homes as estate sales. Life happens and real property is often involved. I enjoy all my clients.

I take my commitment to deliver Solid Gold Service seriously. I return calls, emails and texts promptly. I provide free professional photographs, staging consults and floorplans. I give information so clients can make decisions, rather than me telling them what to do. Like a good nurse, I know information about what to expect tends to reduce anxiety and stress. I support clients during the entire process, am available when needed and celebrate when it’s successfully completed. Receiving awards for customer service and business success tells me I am doing something right.

Do I have a life? Proudly, I say “yes”. I am happily married to a retired aerospace engineer. We have a broad range of interests including health, cooking, travel, science and other nerdy things. We are adventure and information seekers together. We have a daughter who lives with her husband in Seattle and another daughter who lives in Zimbabwe, our second home. We are both active in community service and give lots of money to lots of good causes. Our life is blessed.
What keeps me going in real estate? The people I meet and come to know either as colleagues or clients motivates me to be the best I can. I admit I thrive on good feedback and here is a sampling:
